JACKSONVILLE, NC - As Morton Brothers
Motorsports gears up for the IHRA Hooters Drag
Racing Rocky Mountain Nationals in Edmonton,
Alberta, Canada, Elijah Morton is looking to
have a repeat of his performance at Virginia
Motorsports Park except for one thing. This
race, Morton aims to take the win light at the
finish line in the final round versus his
runner-up finish in Virginia.
Morton faced Carl Baker in the finals at
Virginia Motorsports Park where Baker took the
win light after Morton won three rounds with
three consecutive whole shots.
"I plan to go one more
round than I did in Virginia in Edmonton. This
weekend the win light in the finals will be in
my lane" said Morton.
Both drivers of the
Morton Brothers Motorsports mountain motor Pro
Stock Fords, Elijah Morton and Jeff Dobbins
are ready to hit Budweiser Park in Edmonton,
Alberta. This inaugural race for IHRA Hooters
Drag Racing in Edmonton will give Morton an
opportunity to advance from his fifth position
in points.
