Sunday in Rockingham Rained Out - Eliminations To
Be Run In October Before World Finals
ROCKINGHAM, NC
- After three qualifying sessions at this past
weekend's 33rd annual IHRA Spring Nationals
presented by Advance Auto Parts and Castrol, Team
Morton MotorSports only has one car in the show
for Thursday's final eliminations to be held
October 16th due to Sunday's rain out.
Elijah Morton
will square off with the number one qualifier,
Pete Berner that Thursday due to his 16th
qualifying position. Morton's best all weekend
was a 6.635 @ 208.91 mph. Dobbins' was unable
to make it clocking a best in the 18th
position with a 6.640 @ 210.67 mph. The team
now prepares for round 3 of the 2003 season in
Canada, May 30th - June 1st during the 4th
annual Mopar Canadian Nationals held in Grand
