Abrasives WinterNationals; Decent Results For Only
One Day Of Action

- The combination IHRA Sunoco Race Fuels Pro
Stock team of Elijah Morton & Jeff Dobbins
showed up early Saturday morning for the
Radiac Abrasives WinterNationals. Both made a
total of three passes on Saturday before being
completely rained out on Sunday.
Elijah Morton:
1st pass - 6.662 @ 208.52 mph - #4
2nd pass - 6.647 @ 209.35 mph - #4
3rd pass - Developed Miss, No Good Run Jeff Dobbins:
1st pass - 6.721 @ 209.79 mph - #6
2nd pass - 6.655 @ 210.52 mph - #5
3rd pass -
1.01 60 ft.! One of Jeff's Best Ever 60 ft. times,
had to lift going out of 3rd gear, No Good ET.
Late Sunday afternoon Dobbins was quoted as
saying, "One day is hard to yield magnificent numbers... you really need
at least three days to test. If we would have got in Sunday we would have
stepped up the program for sure".
The 2003 Championship bound team will be
testing somewhere before the 1st event of the season. Unknown at this
point but it will most likely be in Houston, Texas which is relatively
close to the Inaugural Amalie Oil Texas Nationals presented by Ancira Cars
on Feb. 28th - March 2nd.
